Easter Sampler Sunday Sonic Salon 4/20/2025

Join us Sunday 4/20/2025 from 2pm to 6pm for an Easter Sampler of sound, music, poetry and community conversations. 

Music begins at 2:30pm with local opener Infanta Silhouette (Linda Heck’s electronics sound collages) and winds down with Nashville musician Belly Full of Stars (ambient synths and samples) beginning around 5:15pm. Sewanee poet Lana Matthews Sain will read new work, and we’ll have more music from University of the South students Braden Haynes (guitar) and Snow Clone (alternative singer/songwriter Brendan Downes).

Easter Sunday Sonic Salon

Join us Sunday 3/31/2024 from 2pm to 6pm for an Easter Exploration of Sound Bathing featuring visiting artists Taj Chander (Memphis) and Eve Maret (Nashville), with local Infanta Silhouette and possible surprise guest(s).

Taj Chander is an American musician, poet, and kundalini yoga teacher who will share his dharmic music practice.

Eve Maret is an experimental artist who explores the possibilities of personal and communal healing through sound, color, and movement.

Infanta Silhouette is Linda Heck’s field recordings-based electronics practice.

Belly Full of Stars is our official possible surprise guest!

Weather permitting, we will be outdoors and under cover adjacent to the studio. $10 suggested donation- pay what you can.

Electric Arcadia, 874 Lake O’Donnell Road in Sewanee, TN, is a music & art studio and retreat on the Cumberland Plateau fostering exploration, community, discovery and healing through creative practices.
